‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ star John Boyega to join ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ film as a new guest star

Actor John Boyecker has been tapped to guest star in “Star Wars” as a special guest character.
Boyega will join fellow Star Wars veterans R2-D2 and BB-8 as “Mighty Mouse,” an alien who appears on a new promotional poster.
Boyeckers character is described as a young, charismatic character who comes across as a little odd, and it’s unclear if the actor will be playing the role in the film or not.
He will play the character for a couple of weeks.
Boyegers appearance in “Million Dollar Baby” comes after the actor signed on for a cameo in “The Lego Movie.”
He’s also set to appear in a new teaser trailer for the film.
Boyes role comes after Boyega had a breakout role in “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” appearing in both “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Transformatron.”
In “Star Trek Into Darkness,” Boyega played the character of Sisko in the reboot of the franchise, which will star Benedict Cumberbatch as Kirk.
He’s repped by UTA and Management 360.
The Lego Movie is set to open in theaters on November 15, 2019.
