Montana, Wyoming, Wyoming State to play in first ever NCAA tournament game

Wyoming, Montana and Wyoming State are set to play a first-ever NCAA college basketball game in the 2017-18 season.

The Mountaineers (14-8, 10-7 MW) will host the Bears (11-11, 7-10) in a three-game series at Wyoming Memorial Coliseum on Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov, 4.

Wyoming will host Arizona State in a four-game Pac-12 tournament on Friday and Saturday.

WyoTech and the Big Sky Conference are set for a first conference basketball game.

The first-of-its-kind tournament will be the first NCAA Tournament game between the Big 12 and the Mountain West, with the conference holding four teams each, and will be televised on ESPNU, ESPN2, WatchESPN and ESPN3.

The Pac-10, Big 12, ACC and SEC will also have teams in the tournament.
